Magellan Health in Reno, NV seeks a Personal Financial Counselor to provide the full range of personal financial counseling services to service members and their families at military installations. Responsibilities include one-on-one counseling, group briefings, and referrals, with collaboration with DoD programs and POCs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• U.S. citizen and fluent English.
• If required by the contract, bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Must obtain a Tier 2 background investigation.
• Certifications AFC, CFP, or ChFC are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and families.
• Develop spending plans and educational materials for financial topics.
• Coordinate, publicize and provide PFMC classes/workshops across the installation.
• Utilize virtual counseling and other secure electronic communication methods as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership and DoD points of contact and participate in supervision.
