Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent English.
• If required by the contract, bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Must have AFC, CFP, or ChFC certifications.
• Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 investigation.
• Must pass Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and their families.
• Assist in establishing spending plans for extended absences.
• Develop and distribute informational financial materials.
• Coordinate and deliver PFM classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
• Utilize virtual counseling and other electronic modes of communication as needed.
• Follow DoD protocol for duty to warn and communicate with leadership.
• Participate in supervision and contract activities; perform other duties as assigned.
