Qualifications

• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• U.S. citizenship and fluent English.
• Bachelor’s degree required; substitutions allowed as described.
• Certification: AFC, CFP, or ChFC.
• Must be able to obtain Tier 2 background investigation.
• Spanish bilingualism may be required by contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling to service members and their families.
• Develop and deliver Personal Financial Management classes/workshops.
• Assist in establishing spending plans for extended absences.
• Coordinate with DoD POC and leadership to align with installation needs.
• Utilize virtual counseling and secure communications as applicable.
• Ensure compliance with OCI disclosures and other required policies.
