Magellan Federal is seeking a Personal Financial Counselor at Fort Benning, GA to deliver comprehensive financial counseling to service members and their families on military installations.

Responsibilities include one-on-one counseling, group workshops, and briefings, with emphasis on budgeting, debt management, and financial readiness—while coordinating with POCs and utilizing virtual counseling when needed.

Formación

• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; alternative combinations considered.
• U.S. citizen; fluent English; bilingual English/Spanish may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services.
• Help service members establish spending plans for extended absences.
• Develop and share informational financial materials.
• Coordinate and provide Personal Financial Management classes/workshops.
• Respond to requests for age-appropriate classes or seminars.
• Utilize virtual counseling and electronic communication modes.
• Follow DoD protocol for duty to warn.
• Communicate with leadership and participate in supervision and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
