Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; associate degree + 4 years may substitute.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• U.S. citizen; fluent English; bilingual in English and Spanish if contract requires.
• Certifications: AFC, CFP, or ChFC.
• Must pass OCI disclosures and obtain Tier 2 investigation.
• One of AFC/CFP/ChFC required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and their families.
• Develop spending plans for extended absences and provide financial materials.
• Coordinate and offer Personal Financial Management classes/workshops.
• Use virtual counseling and secure communications as needed.
• Adhere to DoD protocol for duty to warn and coordinate with leadership.
• Participate in trainings and quality improvement activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
