Job summary

Magellan Health, Inc. is seeking a Personal Financial Counselor at Fort Wainwright, AK to provide comprehensive financial counseling to service members and families on military installations.

The role includes one-on-one counseling, briefing leadership, conducting workshops, and delivering materials tailored to the DoD lifecycle. Strong English fluency and DoD protocol familiarity are required; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in financial counseling or coaching with service members preferred.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English; bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and families.
• Assist clients in establishing spending plans for extended absences.
• Develop and distribute informational financial materials.
• Coordinate and present Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
• Deliver virtual counseling as required and adhere to DoD protocols.
