Job summary

Magellan Federal seeks a Personal Financial Counselor to deliver comprehensive financial counseling to service members and families on military installations across short-term, surge, and on-demand coverage. Responsibilities include one-on-one coaching, group workshops, and coordinating with DoD stakeholders to ensure program scope and needs are met.

Qualifications require a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of counseling experience, U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• U.S. citizen and fluent English; bilingual in English/Spanish if contract requires.
• Must be able to obtain Tier 2 investigation and pass OCI process.
• Certifications AFC, CFP, or ChFC are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and families.
• Deliver one-on-one counseling, briefings, and referrals as part of the program.
• Develop and deliver financial education materials and workshops.
• Coordinate with installation leadership and POCs to ensure program scope and needs are met.
