Job summary

Goldbelt Glacier Health Services, Llc seeks Adult Counselors to support the Military and Family Life Counseling (MFLC) program in Alaska. The role provides short-term, non-medical counseling to service members and families, including individual, couples, and group sessions, plus outreach through walk-around counseling.

Counselors collaborate with POCs, deliver presentations, and help participants manage stress, relationships, and deployment-related challenges.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a mental health-related field and licensure required.
• Ability to pass background/suitability checks, including CNACI.
• Fluency in English; valid driver’s license; travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face, short-term, non-medical counseling to service members and families.
• Make referrals to military/community resources as needed.
• Deliver presentations/briefings to individuals and groups.
• Provide outreach resources to participants and families.
• Submit daily activity forms showing 8 hours of direct contact.
• Report time daily for employer and government.
