Job summary

RTX is seeking a Military Repair Design Engineer intern to support planning, execution and tracking of repair activities for military engines. You will work with a cross-functional team to develop repair capability and create technical documentation for repairs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with program management and other RTX teams, while aligning with safety and compliance requirements and delivering on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and communicating engineering part and tool drawing requirements.
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required or preferred.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree and enrolled through the internship duration.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and track Military Repair activities domestically and internationally.
• Collaborate with design, structures, tooling and validation teams to deliver repair capability.
• Create repair related technical documentation and review engineering standard work as required.
• Engage with cross functional teams to resolve issues and communicate progress in status reviews.
• Support safety and compliance integration in repair planning and execution.
