Job summary

RTX is offering a Military Repair Design Engineer intern role in the US for the Oklahoma City area. You will plan, execute, and track military repair activities, collaborate with designers, tooling, and program offices, and contribute to repair documentation to meet timelines.

The program emphasizes hands-on engineering experiences, exposure to aerospace defense projects, and learning across design, validation, and tooling facets within a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Experience reading and communicating engineering part and tool drawing requirements.

Responsibilities

Execute assigned tasks to meet schedule requirements.
Create technical documents that provide engineering requirements for repairs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop issue resolution strategies.
Lead or participate in weekly status reviews to communicate progress and risks.
Prototype and qualify new repairs and tooling as needed.
Support the integration of safety and compliance into repair planning.
