Job summary

RTX is offering a Project Engineer Intern position in the US. You will plan, execute, and track engine repair development activities across domestic and international sites as part of the ASE team.

You will collaborate with design, structures, tooling, manufacturing, and validation to deliver new repair capabilities to customers. You will participate in development and maintenance of project plans, coordinate with Validation, Design Engineering, Program Office and cross-functional teams, and

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials Engineering, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship session
• Experience reading and communicating engineering part and tool drawing requirements
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project plans for military engine discretionary repair development tasks
• Support priority communication between Validation, Design Engineering, Program Office and Project Engineering teams
• Interact with cross-functional teams to develop military road mapping and competitive assessments
• Participate in status reviews to communicate status, next steps, risks and corrective actions
• Contribute to repair status meetings with progress updates
• Assist in creating or revising process flow maps for improvements
• Support agile initiatives to streamline program execution
• Participate in after action reviews
• Review Engineering Standard Work per latest requirements
• Identify new or improved measurement tools aligned with program goals
• Support integration of safety and compliance into planning and execution
