Recovery Innovations in Baton Rouge, LA is hiring a Milieu Specialist to lead de-escalation and support strategies, preventing restraints and ensuring safety. Expect to work a full-time schedule in a crisis setting at the Bridge Center location.

The role requires 2+ years in behavioral health, strong communication, and ability to adapt to varying shifts. Candidates must have a High School Diploma and Food Handler’s Certification; Security experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Peer Employment Training preferred.
• Active and valid Food Handler’s Certification required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of behavioral health experience, crisis environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Guest Care & Advocacy: Provides a No-Force-First recovery environment and monitors changes to guests.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Responds to critical situations and maintains compliance with regulations and policies.
• Cross Functional Collaboration: Assists with admissions, discharges and transfers of individuals.
• Additional Duties: Performs other related duties as assigned.
