Recovery Innovations is hiring a Milieu Specialist to lead de-escalation and support strategies at the Crisis - Wake Recovery Center in Raleigh, NC. You’ll provide safe, engaging care and assist with daily living activities while maintaining strict safety protocols.

The role requires evening/morning shifts in a pool/non-exempt setup with mandatory holiday work and thorough onboarding. A High School diploma and food handler certification are required; two years in behavioral health is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Peer Employment Training preferred.
• Active and valid Food Handler’s Certification required.
• Security or law enforcement experience preferred.
• Minimum of two years of behavioral health experience, crisis environment preferred.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Guest care and advocacy with a No-Force-First recovery environment.
• Monitors individuals to report significant changes.
• Collaborates with guests to strengthen valued roles and community living.
• Assists with food preparation, serving and cleanup as needed.
• Helps individuals with showering and clean-up.
• Performs room safety checks to keep rooms safe and clean.
• Responds quickly to critical situations and completes clinical documentation.
• Adheres to federal/state regulations and Recovery Innovations policies.

Background checks clearance required

Formation
