Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health in Plano, TX is seeking a Milieu Manager to partner with the Program Director to run the program and facility. You will supervise milieu staff, promote a positive work culture, and ensure safe, therapeutic treatment spaces.

Responsibilities include coordinating intake/discharge, leading groups, managing staff schedules, and ensuring accurate timekeeping and budget awareness. A Bachelor’s degree (or 3 years in mental health) and at least 1 year of management experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years of experience in mental health required.
• One year of management experience preferred.
• Must possess a current driver's license and be in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Participates in patient intake processes and completes required paperwork.
• Assigns tasks related to admission and intake to milieu staff.
• Supports patient discharge and assigns duties to staff.
• Oversees weekly treatment team notes and publishes for staff review.
• Facilitates community meetings and psychoeducational groups as needed.
• Ensures staff adherence to the program schedule and oversees timekeeping.
