Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
• Active state teaching certification with Special Education Endorsement (DOE) required.
• Experience with IEPs required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies and materials to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate with stakeholders.
• Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and growth.
• Ensure compliance with educational policies and legal requirements.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school activities to enhance instructional effectiveness.
