Job summary

By Light Professional IT Services LLC seeks a Network Design Engineer to design and document MILDEP Campus networks for the COMPMOD program. You will lead technical resources, review configurations, and ensure adherence to customer standards and schedules.

You will work across CONUS locations with travel and security requirements, delivering site-specific designs and engineering documents while coordinating with program management and government reviewers.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a technical discipline with at least 10 years of experience.
• Cisco CCNA certification required.
• Ability to direct technical resources for network design upgrades and cutover plans.
• Experience with Layer 2/3 networks, VLANs, and SDN concepts.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; proven on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering assessments of different configurations and review work products.
• Coordinate with Project/Program Manager and Lead Engineer on design decisions.
• Prepare milestone status reports and presentations for end users.
• Adhere to Army engineering processes and document submissions for review.
