RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) physician to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in New Jersey. The role emphasizes expert, evidence-based care for complex benign gynecologic conditions with advanced laparoscopic, robotic-assisted and hysteroscopic procedures.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Fellowship in MIGS from an AAGL-recognized or equivalent program.
• Board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG or AOA).
• Advanced surgical competency in laparoscopic, robotic-assisted, and hysteroscopic techniques.
• Robotic surgery certification with high-volume robotic experience.
• Experience with complex endometriosis including bowel, bladder and ureter involvement.
• Experience with uterine-sparing myomectomy for complex fibroids.
• Prior experience in graduate medical education and teaching.
• Familiarity with ERAS protocols in gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high-volume surgical and clinical practice with complex gynecologic cases.
• Perform complex laparoscopic and robotic hysterectomy and myomectomy procedures.
• Provide outpatient MIGS clinic care and preoperative evaluations.
• Educate residents and fellows; participate in scholarly activity.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Engage in tumor boards and gynecologic oncology pathways as applicable.
• Contribute to ERAS protocol development and quality improvement.
