Albany Medical College seeks a full-time fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and advance its Complex Benign Gynecology Program. The role centers on a growing regional referral practice focused on advanced benign gynecologic disease and multidisciplinary care.

Qualified candidates will have an MIGS fellowship, NY license eligibility, and OB/GYN board certification/eligibility.

Qualificações

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
• New York Medical License or eligibility to obtain one
• Fellowship completion in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS)
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Responsabilidades

• Specialized evaluation and longitudinal management of complex benign gynecologic conditions (e.g., endometriosis, adenomyosis, chronic pelvic pain, fibroids).
• Perform advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including complex laparoscopic and robotic procedures.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary care pathways with gynecologic imaging, urology, colorectal surgery, gynecologic oncology, and other specialties.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care within the complex benign gynecology practice.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents, including operative education in MIS and advanced benign gynecology surgery.
• Engage in quality improvement, outcomes measurement, research, and scholarly activity.
• Contribute to development of Albany Medical Center's Complex Benign Gynecology Program.
