Albany Medical College seeks a fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and contribute to the Complex Benign Gynecology Program. The ideal candidate will participate in a growing regional referral practice focused on advanced benign gynecologic disease, minimally invasive surgery, and academic development.

The department currently provides comprehensive training and multidisciplinary care, with ample opportunities for teaching,

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and NY medical license eligibility.
• MIGS fellowship completed.
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and longitudinal management of complex benign gynecologic conditions.
• Perform advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgeries with individualized, evidence-based approaches.
• Expand multidisciplinary care pathways for complex pelvic disease with related specialties.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care within the complex benign gynecology practice.
• Teach medical students and residents with operative education in minimally invasive and advanced benign gynecologic surgery.
• Contribute to quality improvement, outcomes measurement, research, and scholarly activity.
• Contribute to Albany Medical Center’s Complex Benign Gynecology Program.
