Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking a fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and contribute to the Complex Benign Gynecology Program.

The successful candidate will join a growing regional referral practice focused on advanced benign gynecologic disease, minimally invasive surgery, multidisciplinary care, education, and academic development.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and eligible for New York medical license.
• Successful completion of a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) fellowship.
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized evaluation and longitudinal management of complex benign gynecologic conditions.
• Perform advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including complex laparoscopic and robotic procedures.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care pathways for patients with complex pelvic disease.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care within the complex benign gynecology practice.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents, including operative education.
• Participate in quality improvement, outcomes measurement, research, and scholarly activity.
• Contribute to the continued development of Albany Medical Center's Complex Benign Gynecology Program.
