Job summary

InDepth Engineering Solutions seeks a skilled Robotics Engineer to program, integrate, commission, and optimize MIG welding on FANUC and NACHI platforms for automotive BIW bodyshop applications. You will define welding trajectories, calibrate TCP, and minimize defects while maintaining production-ready processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a robotics-related field and at least 5 years of hands-on robotics experience, with strong English communication for global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation, Welding, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience programming and integrating FANUC and NACHI robots, with at least 2 years on MIG welding in automotive BIW/Bodyshop.
• Professional working proficiency in English to interface with global tooling suppliers and corporate standards.

Responsibilities

• Path Generation & Optimization: Program and refine MIG welding trajectories on NACHI robots, ensuring optimal torch angles and proper electrode stick-out.
• Weld Process Optimization: Configure and fine-tune welding parameter schedules to minimize porosity, lack of fusion, undercut, or burn-through.
• TCP Maintenance & Calibration: Implement automatic TCP check routines to maintain precise weld placement after consumable changes.
• Backup & Version Control: Maintain clean version history and backups of robot controllers.
