Job summary

Hydrogen Group is seeking a Robotics Engineer to program and integrate FANUC and NACHI robots for automotive BIW MIG welding. You will optimize welding trajectories, configure parameters, and ensure production-ready robot systems across Toledo, OH and Normal, IL locations.

The role requires hands-on MIG welding experience, in-depth robotic programming, and the ability to troubleshoot in a high-volume automotive setting. On-site, 60-hour weeks, rotating 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation, Welding, or related field.
• 5+ years programming/integration of FANUC and NACHI robots.
• 2+ years MIG welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Program and integrate NACHI and FANUC robots for BIW MIG welding.
• Develop and optimize MIG welding paths and robot trajectories.
• Configure welding parameters on robotic controllers.
• Troubleshoot welding defects and robot systems in a high-volume environment.
