Job summary

A local fabrication shop is seeking MIG welders with fabrication and construction experience for full-time roles on 1st and 2nd shifts. Candidates will perform MIG welding and assembly tasks, ensuring high-quality standards. Applicants should be proficient in using hand and power tools and able to read blueprints. This is a great long-term employment opportunity, including double-time pay on Sundays for those who work seven consecutive days.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in mechanical assembly or construction is preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical principles and ability to read blueprints.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Must be able to read tape measure, level, and square proficiently.
• Must be a self-starter with basic analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and components according to blueprints and specifications.
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Operate forklift to move materials and finished products within the warehouse.
