Job summary

Hester Enterprises LLC is looking for four qualified MIG welders to join our team for a contract position in Phoenix, Arizona. Welders will perform MIG welding on structural steel components using advanced welding equipment and custom fixtures. We offer competitive pay based on experience, with the possibility of converting to full-time for those who excel.

The job starts on May 11th, and weld tests will be conducted on May 7th and 8th. All tools are provided, but candidates must bring their own safety gear.

Qualifications

About the Job

1099 Contract position for (4) qualified MIG welders. Fixture and MIG weld .250\" wall rectangle tubing. Weld stringers need to be hot and have good penetration. Mig-Pulse stringers to be performed. Custom made fixture table. All parts being welded are clean, laser cut and press brake bent parts. Brand new Miller 255 welding machines running .045\" wire. Forklift for lifting. All tools provided. Bring your own auto-darken helmet and steel toe boots. Close to Elliot Rd and S Kyrene Road, Tempe 85283. Job expected to take 2 months. It is possible to convert to a full time W-2 position for welders who excel.

Excellent pay, based on experience. Paid Weekly (Friday). Pay rate to be discussed at the interview.

Weld Test Interviews will be held Thursday 5/7/2026 and Friday 5/8/2026.
