Job summary

HTI is hiring a MIG Welder for its new Easley facility to weld structural steel for storage and material handling systems. This full-time, direct-hire role is based in Easley, SC on a 1st shift schedule (5:00 AM–3:30 PM) with overtime as needed.

You will read blueprints, set up welding equipment, inspect welds, and work with the team to meet production goals while enjoying a benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, and paid time off plus

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year MIG welding experience in manufacturing or fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
• Experience using tape measures, squares, gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Attention to weld quality and the ability to meet production goals.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld structural steel components used in industrial racking and storage systems, including beams, uprights, and braces.
• Read blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment for different materials and thicknesses.
• Fit, align, and assemble components before welding.
• Inspect welds for quality, proper penetration, and conformance to specifications.
• Use measuring tools to check dimensions and alignment.
• Communicate material, equipment, or quality concerns to the team.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and follow all PPE requirements.

Pay: $25.00–$35.00/hour, depending on experience

What You’ll Do

Experience with pallet racking or other material handling products and AWS certification are pluses.
