Job summary

Wastequip Inc in Sugar Land, TX is looking for an experienced Welder to join our Container Pros operation. This full-time position offers excellent benefits including health insurance, a 401K plan, and paid vacation. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in MIG Welding, be familiar with fabrication, and be able to operate a forklift.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate the ability to lift and move heavy objects and read blueprints. We are committed to sustainability and improving operations within the waste industry.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of MIG Welding experience or training preferred.
• Experience welding on rusty material is a plus.
• Ability to lift and/or move weights of up to 90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lays out, positions, and tack welds work pieces.
• Welds along vertical, horizontal, and overhead weld lines.
• Examines weld for bead size and other specifications.
