Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• MIG Welding experience is required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Position parts in jigs or fixtures and tack welds along layout marks.
• MIG Welds along vertical, horizontal, and overhead weld lines.
• Connects regulator valves to oxygen and fuel gas cylinders for cutting torch.
• Turns regulator valves to activate flow of gases and adjust flame.
• Examine welds for bead size and specifications.
• Chips or grinds off excess weld, slag, or splatter and ensure safety and quality standards.
