SURGE Staffing seeks an experienced Welder Operator for MIG/METAL Fabrication in Delta, OH. The role involves setting up welding equipment, reading blueprints, and producing quality welds to meet production standards.

Ideal candidates have MIG welding experience, strong measuring tool skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Pay is $22.00 per hour, with a Mon–Thu schedule from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Previous welding experience required.
• 5+ years of welding experience preferred.
• 3+ years of MIG welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, work orders and welding specifications.
• Basic understanding of welding processes, equipment, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and welding specifications.
• Measure and lay out materials according to production requirements.
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment and methods for each application.
• Set up and position components for welding according to specifications.
• Operate MIG, TIG, or resistance welding equipment as required.
• Inspect welded surfaces and finished components for defects and quality issues.
• Follow all safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
