Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: Trade school or certification in welding.
• Required: 1-year previous MIG welding experience.
• Able to work with a positive attitude and in a team setting.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Additional Qualifications:

• Familiar with safe welding practices.
• Capable of learning to read fabrication drawings with some instruction.
• Capable of welding 10-to-20-gauge galvanized steel (training provided).
• Must be physically capable of loading fabrication parts onto the weld table.
• Capable of blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Self-starter with minimal guidance needed for daily tasks.
• Quality-oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of MIG welding machines, including preventive maintenance and control settings.
• Able to move objects weighing up to 75 pounds.

Job Description

A Welder (I) at Lennox AES in Weatherford, TX is responsible for performing precise welding tasks on various materials such as galvanized steel and aluminum. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, ensuring product quality, and working with team members to meet production standards.

Compensation: $20.00/hour, with opportunity for overtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate products from blueprints with attention to detail and efficiency.

• Perform MIG welding on 10-to-20-gauge galvanized steel.
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure quality standards.
