Diamondback Firearms, LLC is seeking a MIG Welder Level III to fabricate and weld aluminum and stainless steel as assigned, following welding charts and quality standards.

The role requires passing a weld test, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and the willingness to work first shift, Monday to Friday with potential overtime. Candidates with production welding experience are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform MIG welds on aluminum and stainless steel in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Examine weld for bead size and other specifications.
• Repair broken or cracked parts and fill holes.
• Position and clamp workpieces together or assemble them in jigs or fixtures.
• Select torch, torch tip, filler ford, and flux according to welding chart specifications or material type and thickness.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on welding equipment.

Job Summary

The MIG Welder Level III is responsible for the fabrication and welding of multiple materials to include aluminum, stainless steel, or others as assigned

JOB TITLE: MIG Welder Level III

Position Qualifications/Requirements

• Ability to pass weld test


• Must be able to lift 50lbs

Preferred Skills

• At least 5 years of MIG welding experience in a production environment


• At least 1 year of experience reading a tape measure, identifying, and measuring material


• At least 5 years of experience using weld fillet gauges to ensure proper weld size and interpret tolerances


• Forklift certification

CORE DUTIES

• Perform MIG welds on aluminum and stainless steel in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions


• Examine weld for bead size and other specifications


• Repair broken or cracked parts and fill holes


• Position and clamp workpieces together or assemble them in jigs or fixtures


• Select torch, torch tip, filler ford, and flux according to welding chart specifications or type and thickness of material


• Perform all necessary maintenance and repair on all equipment used in welding

HOURS

• 1st shift position


• Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.


• Overtime as needed

Special Requirements

Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen. Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
