Job summary

Qualifications

  • Ability to read fabrication drawings and blueprints.
  • Use of manual and electric cutting tools.
  • Spanish required; English desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols.
  • Set up jigs, fixtures, and components for accurate welding and assembly.
  • Operate manual and electric cutting tools, band saws, grinders, and drills.
  • Inspect welds for quality, penetration, and dimensional accuracy.
  • Assist with layout and fit-up of complex assemblies.
  • Follow safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Comply with PPE requirements, ensure proper ventilation, and maintain the work area clean and hazard-free.
  • Perform any other related or non-related tasks as assigned by management, as required to support operational efficiency and business needs.
