Job summary

IQ Resource Group, Inc. is actively seeking skilled Structure Steel Welders to fabricate, assemble, and repair stainless steel and aluminum structures.

You will read blueprints and schematics and apply GMAW and GTAW techniques to join components and frames, ensuring high-quality welds in a fast-paced shop environment. Based in Clintonville, WI, the role offers a 7:00 am to 3:30 pm schedule, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Experience in GMAW and GTAW welding methods.
• Detail-oriented with focus on quality.

Responsibilities

• Weld according to provided qualifications and prints.
• Fit parts for welding structural components and assemblies.
• Weld and finish various structural parts such as frames and trailers.
• Ensure all work meets customer-required compliances.
• Additional welding qualifications in aluminum are a plus.

Job description

We are seeking skilled Structure Steel Welders responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing stainless steel and/or aluminum metal structures and equipment. Successful candidates will have the ability to read blueprints and schematics and be well-versed in various welding techniques.

Position: Structure Steel Welder

Location: Clintonville, WI

Wage: $21.61 - $23.50/hour

Work Hours: 7am to 3:30pm M-F (Work every other Saturday)

Job Overview: We are seeking skilled Structure Steel Welders responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing stainless steel and/or aluminum metal structures and equipment. Successful candidates will have the ability to read blueprints and schematics and be well-versed in various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Must be qualified in 1F, 1G, 2F, 3G, and 4G short circuit GMAW carbon steel and stainless steel.
• Weld according to Seagrave qualifications, including 2G spray transfer, 2G, and 3G short circuit GMAW carbon and stainless steel.
• Fit parts for welding structural components and assemblies.
• Weld and finish various structural, new, and refurbished parts, such as trailers, torque boxes, complete frames, and more.
• Work with parts and subassemblies with or without fixtures.
• Fit and weld according to prints and drawings.
• Ensure all work meets customer-required compliances.
• Additional welding qualifications in aluminum, including but not limited to 1G spray transfer GMAW and 6G GTAW, are a plus.
