Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams or schematics.
• Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Must pass a MIG welder certification.
• Experience with industrial welding tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal using welding techniques.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to choose weld type.
• Inspect welds for structural soundness.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality programs.
• Prepare materials and set up welding devices or robots.
• Possibly complete apprenticeship or formal training in area.
• Support safety and quality processes; perform other duties as assigned.
