Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience, apprenticeship, or vocational training preferred.
• Must be able to pass and maintain MIG Welder certification.
• Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints.
• Ability to operate forklifts and cranes and maintain certifications.
• Ability to read measuring tools and convert measurements.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Join, fabricate, and repair metal using MIG welding techniques.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine welding process.
• Inspect welds for structural soundness.
• Prepare materials and setup for welding equipment or robotic devices.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
