Job summary
Technibus is seeking experienced welders in Rock Hill, SC to fabricate generator enclosures and frames. You will read blueprints, fit and weld components, and work with sheet metal and galvanized steel in a fast-paced environment.
The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality while collaborating with production, engineering, and quality teams.
Qualifications
- Experience with structural welding and blueprint reading.
- Ability to fit, align and weld components per drawings.
- Experience with sheet metal and galvanized steel materials.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on structural steel, generator frames, and enclosure components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
- Fit, align, and weld components according to specs and quality standards.
- Measure and verify materials using tape measures and precision tools.
- Fabricate and assemble components using sheet metal and galvanized steel.
- Install insulation as part of enclosure assembly.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety procedures.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to meet schedules.
