Technibus in Canton, Ohio seeks experienced Generator and Enclosure Welders to fabricate and assemble generator enclosures and structural components for power systems used in data centers.

The role requires MIG welding expertise, blueprint literacy, and the ability to work with sheet metal and galvanized steel in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Insulation installation and tool proficiency are also part of duties.

Qualifications

• Experience MIG welding, structural welding, or fitter/welder in manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Pre-weld assembly and accurate component fitting.
• Proficient in MIG welding techniques.
• Read tape measures and perform basic shop math.
• Experience with sheet metal and galvanized steel.
• Install or work around insulation materials.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilités

• Perform MIG welding on structural steel, generator frames, and enclosure components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
• Fit, align, and weld components according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
• Measure, mark, and verify materials using a tape measure and other precision measuring tools.
• Fabricate and assemble components using sheet metal and galvanized steel.
• Install and work with insulation materials as part of the enclosure assembly process.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams to meet production schedules.
