Job summary

Ōnin Staffing is seeking a Welder Fitter for a first shift position with our client, a leader in metal fabrication and industrial services. The role focuses on high quality welds, precise fabrication, reading blueprints, and working in a fast-paced environment with overtime available.

You will MIG-weld, measure and fit parts using tape measures and layout tools, complete weld tests, and uphold safety and quality standards daily.

Qualifications

2+ years of welding and metal fabrication experience.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Proficient with tape measures and layout tools.
Willing to work overtime.
Safety-minded and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on various materials.
Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
Measure, cut, and fit materials with accuracy using tape measures and layout tools.
Complete required weld tests, including fillet weld (T-joint) tests.
Maintain quality and safety standards throughout the fabrication process.
