Wastequip has an immediate opportunity for a Welder in Winamac, IN. This full-time role offers benefits including Health Insurance, 401K, and Paid Vacation/Sick time. Ideal candidates are MIG Welders with prior manufacturing experience.

Pay is $23.41 per hour for first shift. Responsibilities include welding on production lines, assembling refuse trucks, and laying out welds per blueprints. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and pass safety requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of related welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

• Position parts in jigs or fixtures on bench or floor and weld as directed.
• Weld on production line, including refuse truck assemblies.
• Read blueprints and measuring tools to lay out welds; visually inspect bead size.
