Job summary

Wastequip Inc is looking for a Welder to join their Erial, NJ manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will have MIG welding experience and a strong background in a manufacturing environment.

This position offers an hourly rate of $23.74, and the candidate will be responsible for welding various metal pieces, as well as ensuring quality specifications are met. Excellent benefits, including health insurance and a 401(K) plan, are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or technical school preferred.
• MIG Welding experience is a must.
• Six months or more of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Positions parts in jigs or fixtures on the bench.
• MIG welds along vertical, horizontal, and overhead weld lines.
• Examines weld for bead size and specifications.

Skills

Basic math skills

Ability to read blueprints
