Job summary

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience and ability to perform welds to specification.
• Must be able to read and understand work orders, directions, charts, forms and safety regulations.
• Ability to set up welder and inspect welds, making adjustments as needed.
• Read gauges and read and understand related safety instructions.
• Ability to work well with others in a team concept.

Responsibilities

• Handle materials and tools, set up to complete welding processes and inspect welds to ensure specifications are met.
• Be a member of a cellular operating group and rotate to other workstations as needed.
• Perform safety checks and preventive maintenance on welding equipment.
• Weld and repair welds on parts per specifications.
• Work within safety, environmental, quality, productivity and performance standards.
