Job summary

Fire Training Structures LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The role involves welding and fabricating storage containers and related structures both in the shop and on job sites.

You will read blueprints, operate welding equipment, and ensure quality while adhering to safety guidelines. The ideal candidate has MIG welding experience, can pass AWS 3G/4G tests, and is comfortable working outdoors in summer.

Qualifications

• Prior MIG (GMAW) welding experience.
• Ability to pass AWS 3G and 4G weld tests.
• Knowledge of shop equipment (ironworker, brake, grinder, drill press, etc.).
• Clean driving record with valid license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld and fabricate storage containers and related structures.
• Read blueprints, measurements, work orders and fabrication instructions.
• Operate welding equipment and fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect welded/fabricated work for quality and code compliance.
• Maintain clean, organized fabrication areas and follow safety guidelines.
