Job summary

WEBCO MFG is seeking a MIG Welder/Fabricator to join our Weld Team in a customer-focused environment in Olathe, KS. The role involves producing high quality welds and reading blueprints to ensure parts meet specifications.

We offer an ESOP, a safety-first culture, quarterly bonus potential, full benefits, and opportunities for advancement in a fully in-house, air-conditioned shop. This is a full-time, in-person position with relocation to Olathe required.

Qualifications

• MIG welding/fabricator experience (at least one year).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Comfortable with flat, horizontal, and vertical uphill welds.
• Strong attention to detail and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality welds efficiently.
• Ensure materials meet customer specifications by determining the welding method to be used if it is not stated on the blueprint.
• Perform the first piece check and submit it to quality assurance for inspection prior to completing the entire job.
• Maintain records on production to ensure the correct number of parts are produced.
• Organize work to be performed by complexity, method used, and anticipated completion time.
• Other responsibilities as required.
