Job summary

Woods Equipment Company, part of the Oregon Tool family, is hiring a Welder I to join our production team in Oregon, IL. Under supervision, you will weld components using MIG processes, read blueprints, and meet quality standards on a 5a–3:30p shift.

You will work with carbon steel and other alloys, adjust parameters as needed, and support continuous improvement while maintaining safe, efficient operations. This role offers healthcare, 401k, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months to one year welding experience or related training.
• Must pass internal Welder I qualification test.

Responsibilities

• Set up and position components for welding operations per instructions.
• Perform welds according to processes, instructions, and quality standards.
• Maintain weld fixture integrity and ensure assemblies meet specs.
• Interpret blueprints and weld symbols to meet requirements.
• Contribute to quality, efficiency, and safety improvements.
• Support other manufacturing tasks as needed.
