As a MIG Welder, you’ll be responsible for fitting, fabricating, joining, and repairing steel components used in large, industrial welded assemblies. Your expertise will ensure the production of structurally sound, high-quality welds in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You'll follow blueprints and welding specifications, prepare materials, set up equipment, and sometimes assist with robotic welders—ensuring safety and precision at every step.
This position operates in an industrial metal-fabrication facility. Employees may be exposed to: Changing indoor and outdoor temperatures. Loud machinery, welding equipment, and vibration. Moving mechanical equipment and electrical hazards. High temperatures, sparks, and hot metal. Welding fumes, odors, dust, mist, gases, and areas with limited ventilation. Chemicals, oils, cutting fluids, and other substances that may contact the skin or become airborne.
