Job summary

TOPS Staffing is seeking a skilled MIG Welder for a prominent metal fabrication facility in Ambridge, PA. You will fit, weld, and repair steel components, following blueprints and welding symbols, while ensuring high-quality welds in a heavy manufacturing environment.

You'll work second shift with a $4/hour differential and a direct-hire, day-one employment arrangement. Bring your own gear and contribute to a safety-focused team with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers)
• Ability to interpret blueprints and welding symbols
• Experience setting up and operating MIG welding equipment
• Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes (certifications preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to pass and maintain MIG welding certification
• Communicate effectively in English

Responsibilities

• Fit, fabricate, join, and repair steel components per blueprints and specifications in large welded assemblies.
• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment; assist with robotic welders when needed.
• Follow blueprints and welding specs; ensure safety and precision in a fast-paced plant.
• Prepare materials and equipment; inspect welds and maintain quality standards.
