Job summary

Husky Rack & Wire is seeking a MIG welder for evening shift in North Carolina. You will set up fixtures, clamp parts, and weld joints to spec using MIG welding techniques, with the ability to pass a welding test. Reading a tape measure is essential.

The role involves adjusting wire feed, heat, and gas flow, welding connectors and beams, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Evening shifts require OT on Fridays and Saturdays based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Mig welding experience or formal Mig welding training; ability to pass a welding test.
• Ability to read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Set locating rails and stops to weld parts to spec; measure within 1/16 inch using charts and sketches.
• Fixture components, clamp and position parts for welding.
• Perform MIG welds on joints and touch up welds as required.
• Adjust wire feed, heat, and shielding gas for proper welds.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and report equipment issues.
