Job summary

Cardinal-Scale-Manufacturing,-Co is seeking a Production Welder in Webb City, MO. The role requires MIG and TIG welding skills, layout and fit-up, and the ability to read blueprints. The position runs Monday–Friday on a standard day shift with potential overtime.

Required are a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of factory/manufacturing experience; welding certification is a plus. Benefits include PTO, health and retirement plans, and 401k matching.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of factory/manufacturing experience with similar equipment at high volumes is preferred.
• Welding Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fit, and set up equipment per job orders.
• Weld (MIG and TIG) per blueprints and orders.
• Select equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding.
• Layout, positioning, and alignment of components for welding.
• Operate overhead crane for movement of parts.
• Clean or degrease parts as needed.
• Inspect welds visually to ensure quality and fix defects.

Salary Range: $21.00 To $27.00 Hourly

Summary/Objective

The Production Welder requires knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principle methods involved in the production of precision parts is also required.

Essential Functions

• Weld (MIG and TIG) forms according to blueprints and job orders.
• Select equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding.
• Layout, positioning, and alignment of components for welding.
• Movement and positioning of workpieces using overhead crane.
• May clean or degrease parts using brush, grinder, or chemical bath.
• Troubleshoots welding procedures by visually examining welds for defects.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 1st shift- 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 2nd shift- 3:30 p.m. to midnight., 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required based on business needs.
