Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Experienced Welder in Valley, NE. The role involves arc welding and fabrication of steel electrical poles and substations, requiring reading blueprints, following specifications, and maintaining shop equipment.

Two years of welding experience and the ability to pass welding tests and certifications (AWS, CWB) are required. Multiple shifts are available with full-time hours in a clean, safe working environment at a Fortune 1000 company.

Qualifications

• Two years of hands-on welding experience in a professional environment.
• Ability to pass welding hand-on test and written assessment.
• Ability to pass and maintain weld certification to meet AWS, CWB and other customer certifications in GMAW welding.
• Knowledge of how to accurately read a measuring tape.
• Ability to read and decipher blueprints and flat sheets to weld scheduled work.

Responsibilities

• Fuse or weld metal components by arc welding for steel poles, substations, and structures.
• Plan work from blueprints or specifications and determine sequence of operations.
• Maintain and operate production tooling and welding equipment safely.
• May operate other machines in the shop.

Experienced Welder – $28.13/hr

Our client in Valley, NE is looking for hardworking, motivated talent to join their team.

Whats in it for you?

• $ 28.13 ($26.13 + $2 shift differential)

Available Shifts:

• 2nd shift, Monday - Friday 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
• 3rd shift, Sunday - Thursday, 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
• 3rd shift Tuesday - Friday, 8:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
• Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday, 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

What will you be doing?

• Fuse or weld metal structural components together by means of arc welding in the fabrication of steel electrical poles, substations, and other structures
• Perform welding operations requiring a limited amount of planning of work from blueprints or other written specifications and determining operation sequence
• Maintain and operate production tooling and fixtures as well all welding equipment in a safe and secure manner
• May be called upon to operate other machines in the shop

What do you bring?

• Two years of previous hands-on welding experience in a professional environment
• The ability to pass welding hand-on test and written assessment
• The ability to pass and maintain weld certification to meet AWS, CWB and several other customer certifications in GMAW welding
• Knowledge of how to accurately read a measuring tape
