Job Description

Mig Welder
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Mig Welder with 5+ years of experience. You will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and assembling metal projects, including electric arc and insert gas welding.

Pay Rate
$20.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Thursday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Mig Welder Skills and Duties

• Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining metals according to specifications.
• Preparing metals and surfaces to ensure safety and quality.
• Testing weld strength during and after projects.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Communicating effectively and understanding safety procedures.
• Determining appropriate gas ratios for welding.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Understanding of welding safety standards.
• Experience with MIG welding preferred.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic and punctuality.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to meet production goals and deadlines.
