Your Role

As a skilled Welder at American BOA, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, crafting high-quality metal components that are crucial to our groundbreaking products. With your expertise in TIG welding, you'll help us push the boundaries of metal fabrication while ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute TIG welding operations on a variety of metal components, translating engineering drawings and specifications into top-notch welds.
  • Set up and fine-tune welding equipment, choosing the right parameters to achieve optimal penetration and fusion.
  • Decode blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings to identify welding needs and dimensions.
  • Inspect welds meticulously for quality assurance using visual checks and measuring instruments.
  • Safely and efficiently operate welding machinery and hand tools, strictly adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Keep your workspace organized and clean, ensuring proper handling and storage of welding materials and tools.
  • Collaborate with a talented team across departments to meet production targets and tackle any welding challenges that arise.
  • Engage in ongoing training and improvement initiatives to elevate your welding skills and stay ahead in the industry.
  • Uphold company policies and quality standards, ensuring compliance with regulations and exceeding customer expectations.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Welder, showcasing your TIG welding expertise.
  • Welding certification (e.g., AWS, ASME) is a plus!
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Basic math skills and a solid understanding of measurements.
  • Physical stamina for repetitive tasks and the capability to lift heavy objects.
  • A strong commitment to safety, with knowledge of welding hazards and best practices.

Note: We are an ITAR-compliant location. Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR. You can expect a TIG weld test as part of the interview process.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
